Vane AI Guide is an independent informational website. It does not operate the Vane software or provide an AI search service.

Data this website handles

This site has no accounts, forms, advertising, or database. Its application code does not set cookies, use browser storage, or collect search queries, API keys, or payment information. The copy button writes the installation command to your clipboard only when you press it.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting provider may process IP addresses, request information, and technical logs to deliver and secure the website. Processing and retention depend on the provider and deployment settings. This policy does not promise that server-level logs are disabled.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

The live hosting configuration injects Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and page performance. The analytics beacon sends measurement data to Cloudflare. This is separate from the application code stored in this repository. Read the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation for details about the service and its data handling.

External websites

Links to GitHub, Docker, Perplexity, and other websites take you to independent services with their own privacy policies. Any local Vane instance you run is separate from this guide. Enter model provider credentials only in your own instance.

Updates

If the website adds data collection or changes its hosting practices, this policy should be updated before those changes go live. No contact address is published because none has been configured.
